This may be the wrong place but..
Today I went for a bike ride on trail #797 it's immediatly off of Rampart Range Road on the Sedellia side. I don't have any maps that show it. It is a quad, dirtbike, hike, bicycle trail. I had fun but it kept going and I had to get to work

Well I was able to find a Nat'l Geographic map. Still didn't have it. I found 690 (which started almost beside it in the parking lot) but still no 797???

LOL... No it went somewhere.. at least my legs think so. I am thinking it tied into trails to the flat rock area. I will find out soon enough

#690 is Power Line trail, pretty much runs north/south. Was the trail pretty smooth, or LOTS of whoops?? Did the #797 trail you were on start out at the Main Large Parking Area, right off of Hwy 67?
There are some NEW trails being constructed at Rampart, for the first time in about 20 years. :thunb: Maybe the Forest Service finally named and numbered them???? So, they probably aren't on the maps yet. :D

Yeah it started there and I saw 690... it wasn't flat and had some good hills. It was fun!

hmmm, 797 I cant help with, but I do know 747 pretty darn well. In my younger years my boy scout troop used to go hike/camp there regularly up above the AFA.

Trying to find out about this road, I stumbled across this article. Maybe this is why no one seems to know where the road goes or has published information on it.
