View Full Version : Englewood Car and Truck Show 8/29

Englewood Driveshaft told me about this show on the the 29th of this month. All of the proceeds go to support wounded vets. They need a bunch of lifted or modified 4x4s to attend for the 4x4 section and I thought people would be interested.
In addition to everything listed, I believe that the Army is going to bring out a climbing wall and that there is going to be a monster truck that will be giving rides to the kids. If you have a lifted/modified truck or are just into cars and trucks, this will be a fun event.
If you participate in other forums, please copy and past this on those forums to get some more support for this.

This is a really good time. I have been at least twice. Unfortunately last year, it was cancelled due to budget cuts. Lets hope that it goes this year! I am about 5 blocks from where it happens, so I will almost certainly be there!

According to Bob at Englewood Driveshaft, Englewood increased the budget for this one. They approached him and told him that he would have a whole new section of the lot to fill, hence the 4x4 and monster truck thing. He is now sending these out to try to fill this section with 4x rigs of any kind, especially if they are lifted and modified.
The car section is going to include everything from rat rods to pro street.

Sounds cool and Brody, you would be quite a draw if you showed your "heap"! I would feel like an idiot parking mine in that section.

I don't know about that. I have seen other rigs more set up than mine, the difference is usually that mine is still street legal and the more set up rigs are trailered...What they are looking for is set up, modified (read weird) rigs for the 4x section. Mine fits this as does Sean's Ranger. Billl's Surburban fits this, too with a 12" lift, big axles, big meats, hydro, etc, etc.
And you have a sweet FJ...

Yeah...his Burbie is a tank. He is running 1 ton axles with lockers, hydro assist steering, and has just dropped a 468 big block in it. I have seen the pictures and he has taken on almost all the hard trails in Moab...many of them not suited for a big rig like that, too. You may have seen it around. It has a camo paint job and looks like the business...
