View Full Version : Out of state trip??

Well in the infancy of planning, however my wife and I are hoping to get 3 weeks next summer to travel with the toaster. States icluded are Wyoming, Montana, Idaho and Utah. Where can I find maps/info on BLM and FS roads as to camp for free most of the nights out. Thanks for any help!

I can help you out with the Utah part of it, depending on where you are going. I have a load of topo maps from the area. There is an out of the way campsite in the San Rafael swell that your toaster could make it too, if you want to do that. Creek, petroglyphs, no people. I also have a Wyoming gazetteer. It is a few years old but you are welcome to borrow it.

Well, our next 'out of state trip' is going to be Margarita Island off the coast of South America and that will blow the budget until November of next year....
