So dad & I got up there a bit later than planned but still had a good time since this was dad's first time going up there and he loved the area. Here are a few pics and Videos.

Only thing that happened as far as the truck goes is got hit by a falling rock going up the canyon towards Blackhawk and snapped one of the mounting bolts for the diamond plate when go flexed.

Did pick up some trash along the way, Anyone want a Wheel ArmorRing?
Also the lil red Chevy S-10 that was abandoned well someone rolled it down the hill a ways and here is a pic now, went into Georgetown and turned in the paperwork we found for it to the Police Dept.

Also the fishing stank at Georgetown the were feeding all over the place but would not even bite anything we tossed their way, had fun fishing in the rain when everyone else around left.

When we went up there the S-10 was o the trail with a broken CV joint.. All still there and rubberside down. It coulf have been towed/winched out. I bet the owners either don't care or don't know!

After looking it over it was clear that it was loaded down and the rear tires had been just about rubbed thru from the inner wheel well lip, The lower ball joint is what broke causing the CV joint to disengage and broke the upper A arm off, sad thing is sitting on the roof like that the fuel, oil, and other liquids are now leaking onto the ground.

That Chevy has been up there for years and is even marked down in Wells books as a trail marker of sorts :"abandoned red truck".

Only reason that no one has towed it down or recovered it is probably because it is based on the S10 platform which is Chevy's answer to the Bronco II stuff...building something with the crappiest left over parts. The engine would have been the only decent thing to salvage and that was no doubt trashed...

I think there is still an abandoned white Dodge something on Eagle Rock...
