Boreas Pass

Well after the stockers run Jessica and I camped ......... (here is a scary part)...... at a campground in Frisco. Not our normal way but still had fun. After we went for a short hike and had breakfast we fueled up and headed for the "Pretty" way home. Took Boreas Pass from Breckenridge to HWY 285 around Jefferson. This is a great "history" road as there is much to see/read along the way. However leave your 4x4 at home to save gas... A car can easily make it!

Boreas Pass does make for a nice drive before it closes for the season...Nov 1 maybe is the last day you can drive it.

I get up that roaad frequently for work, but have yet to venture past the gate when its open. Usually when i think about it its already closed... sounds lilke something I can take my DD on...

It is pretty,fun and really easy no doubt.. but a lot nicer than Hoosier or I-70.
