I am thinking we should meet in St elmo (the parking area just before you get into st elmo on the right) at 10:30. The trail run will be sept 27.

The 2 trails we are going to run are in this order Tin Cup Pass

http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=120

We will use Cumberland Pass (graded dirt road) to hop over to Hancock Pass.

Then we will use Hancock Pass to bring us back to St Elmo.

Remember there is a good chance of snow fall so make sure you bring your winter gear.

Directions to St. Elmo Via the springs.

Do you guys have any objections to "cross-pollination" with some CK5.com guys? A few of them might want to go on this run.

Just a thought; wouldn't it be wiser to meet in St Elmo earlier than 10:30? Running three trails (with me or without) can get pretty long, especially if people stop often for pictures.
I'm not sure how long of a drive it is to get out there from Denver, but just thinking that 10:30 might be a bit of a luxury here ;) I mean last time you guys had a Stockers run you didn't actually start the trail til about noon (correct me if i'm wrong) which resulted in a long day.
We also have to take into consideration that Fall is here, and the pm weather can be a bitc*.

I'm thinking no later than 9am in St Elmo?

I wouldnt be opposed to an earlier start. Its just, to saint elmo, a 2 1/2 hour drive. Its a little hard to get the kids going at that time. But i am not opposed to bumping it up.

I am not sure i had to put the bottom of the cherokee back together after Kim ripped it apart last weekend. are you going to grace with your presence on this trip randy?

If you guys want to move up the meeting time, why not meet at the Gunsmoke gas station in Johnson Village? There is more room to park, gas, air, and better cell phone signal. It is probably 50 min from there to St Elmo.

I think subacool was more interested in making sure we finish earlier as opposed to late at night. We can change it but i want to leave a weeks notice for everybody.

Not even that long, but I believe that is a much better meeting spot

So do we want to bump up the meeting time and change the meeting place? Or leave it as it is?

I think Johnson Village seems to be the place everyone would like to meet. As far as meeting time, leave it as is for now.

BV seems to be in the Bannana Belt, the MTNs will most likely get a coating today but you should be fine!

It is snowing right now at my house (6700ft elev) so who knows how the snow will be out there.

I would recommend bringing tire chains if you have them.

Chris

There was fresh snow around BV today when we passed through but it didnt look like much that was going to stick around.

I was looking its suppose to be in the high 50's for the trails. I dont think snow fall will be an issue. So 10:00 at johnsons village? I think we should nail it down by tomorrow.

Providing that Jeff (DMSfab) gets the parts to get my 3rd member done and can bring it on this run, anyone living in the Denver area want to do me and Jeff a favor and babysit it back to Denver for me? It would be appreciated. If you can get it to your house, I'll make arrangements to pick it up.

Sunk,
I bet it will be cold up there so I would recommend putting the top on.

DmsFab, I am running a NP208 and T400. The tailshaft housing has a worn bushing.

Chris

It's on my "to-do" list. It's supposed to allow the person who adds it to edit it as well. I hope to fix it soon.
