I know it seems like every other week i am having some sort of issue but this one sucks.
My dog Johnny jumped the fence on the 29th and we still havent found him. He is my best friend and he is the one keeping me going with all the stuff going on around me. If you guys see him or even a similar one let me know.
Male, Black Lab, about 2 y/o, very friendly.

Was he wearing a collar? My dog dug out once and didn't have anything but the rabies tag on. Call your vet and make sure no one has called with info. ( I am sure you have already thought of this but never hurts to double check.) Best of luck...Did you post it on Craigslist as well?

Call the local animal control dept.s to see if he was picked up and the shelters in the area. Hopefully he comes back soon and is ok.

call all the shelters in the area daily. Within a 15 mile radius. Please tell me had a collar and maybe microchipped?

I have yet to meet a lab that wasn't friendly, except of course when they feel their owners are threatened, then I am not sure what they would do if push came to shove besides bark really mean/loud and then lick the person to death.
They are my all time favorite breed, I have a chocolate who is 12 years old, I feel for you, hope you find him.:thunb:

Went to Table Mountain Animal Center today (kinda far from you but still), looking for adoption dog/cat with my sister, didn't see any black labs though

Don't know where in Littleton you are at, but I saw a black dog wandering yesterday I think, maybe the day before. This was in my subdivision(Wads/Ken Caryl area) as I was leaving. Didn't see too much of the dog though, so I don't know what kind it was.

He is not too far from Belleview and Federal.
Make sure you call all the shelters. Some are city run, others are non-gov't.
Will keep my eyes peeled. Make sure you post on CL too!

:D:D:D:thunb::thunb::thunb:
We got him home on sat evening.
He was picked up by denver animal control on Friday night about a mile from my house.
The shelter told my mom that they have been having a problem with pure bred dogs showing up in there due to people stealing them and breading them. Then just throwing them out the door to fend for themselves.
If I see anyone around my house looking at my dog from now on BE SURE I WILL HAVE A BAT IN HAND (bat because I cant own a firearm).
I cant believe the BS people can do and not feel a single bit of remorse about!

Glad to hear it and yeah if your interested in pure breeds the pound is a good place to go around here. My neighbor got a Rhodesian Ridgeback from the one here in Adams and then several months later found a Vizsla. I thought it was strange myself so I asked and that was reasoning he got from them, is people steal them, breed them and throw them out.
There is another guy I know, who found an Akbash at the pound, which are very rare.
