I drive a 2003 Nissan Xterra. I've owned Suzukis in the past and also have wheeled Land Rovers with my uncle in NH. I'm pretty well versed in the local trail system (Pike NF) and try to get out as much as I can.

I roll with everybody from stockers to extreme, but just enjoy getting out there.

Thanx for havin' me!.....

Welcome aboard. That's a sharp-looking bumper. It really fits the Xterra well. Who makes it?

Thanks; it's a TJM (no longer sold in America). The reason I bought it was because of the frame mount. Very strong. The downside is that it's exterior is thin. I've pretty much killed it with rocks.

Hey Jeff. You wouldn't by chance know a guy named Cooper would you???

I lost touch with him, but he did all the fab work underneath my rig. Is he still around? Great guy.

Thanx for the warm welcome, folks. Not to hijack my own thread, but I heard Hackett is now opened. Is that true?

Thanks; I love those Isuzu PUs, too. What mods do you have?

What year Xterra is your friend considering? I like the Gen I (200-2004), but the Gen II are more sensible daily drivers. They (Gen II) also have stock lockers with the offroad package.

...wait till I show him yours.......

Make sure he knows that the SFA doesn't come free....

[QUOTE= Thanks; I love those Isuzu PUs, too. what mods do you have?

Thanks, I just took it on it's first real trail run on Saturday at Wheeler Lake. I was shocked as to how well it did. As for now I've only done the Torsion bars adjust and rear Shackles. Both gave me about 2.5" of lift. I'm thinking of doing a SAS up front and SOA in the rear.

I'll be sure to let him know that....

I know, I remember when he brought it to my shop to align it. What was it, about a year and half or so ago?...... :thunb:

3 years ago. Time flies!

That's how I started out. (tbars + Shackles) Hopefully I'll see you on the trails.
