View Full Version : What the heck happened to Summer and Fall?

Seems this year we went from Spring to Winter, yesterday my Ash tree out front was full of green leaves, today they are all yellow and on the ground.
My Aspens in the backyard just barely started to turn yellow around the edges of the leaves, yet it's 18 degrees outside.

This year sucks. jumpin fron hot to cold leaves us less time to wheel:(

Welcome to Colorado....where we experience all 4 seasons:

1. Winter, freezing cold.
2. Winter, more sunshine, still cold.
3. Summer, blazing hot
4. Winter, windy and cold

in florida it was 2 seasons..

midly cool to cold/in the evenings mostly.
rest of the the year was sweat yer ass off and be miserable.. oh and bugs.

Im from Houston....two seasons HOT and HOTTER then two weeks of fall, winter and spring...:rolleyes:

Cockroaches are soooo big if you stepp on em --- your shoe walks away;)

I left TX in 95 --- other than eating watermellon with my HANDS and NO FORK And Plate, Southern Belle Women and SWEET TEA!!! I DONT miss Texas....

I really like Colorados' 4 SEASONS.

Someone has been paying attention. :)

No, we did not have the season generally known as HOT here in Colorado this year. Many here have heard that this has displeased me greatly and there was some thought of sacrificing a small mammal to appease the appropriate god or gods.

Spring was cold, summer was cool and it rained when I got off work ready to go to the pool, fall is starting with winter. This is just stupid.

Good ole Colorado weather.. In Ga there was only 2 seasons.... hot/humid and rain/cool... we did see snow a couple of times while I was there ..... oh and the bugs... I think it's a southern thing for the BIG bugs..... there is alot I miss from there but the biggest would be the sweet tea and boiled peanuts....

Front coming on thurs..but still be
88 high and 69 low..what cold front

Looks like somebody blinked. Normally the change starts in the higher elevations and works it's way down. However, this year Fall fell quicker than usual.

In the past two or three weeks I've seen deer, coyote, and racoon in my area. All looked extra fluffy and round. Hope you got your nuts gathered up. :)

ill be out in it no matter what. once the beast is functional again ill be ready to go whenever anyone wants to:D

Supposed to have nice sunshine and temps in the 60s for the next week or more...
