There was a report by search of seeing something fall from the balloon early on. I hope that's false and the kid is scared & hiding from his parents because he accidentally released the balloon. I don't speculate on this kind of thing because the results may be about as awful as they can get.

Listen to the mom when he said he heard them - her voice gets high pitched. Watch her hand grip harder on her knee when the kid deviates from what they coached him to say.

OMG the damn sheriff up there is doing a CYOA on 2 news right now, since they totally missed searching the attic.

Instead of re-interviewing the family today in light of the CNN interview last night, the sheriff's department has decided to let them rest during such a trying time, which equates to giving them time to gather their thoughts and get the story straight, they plan on talking to family tomorrow.

I seriously doubt leaving it to the sheriff's department up there to investigate, anything will become of this.
