So I got a Knock on the door about 3:30 and it is my neighbor Dale with the4x Camaro and another neighbor friend, JD. He had just opened up the gate to the field that led to where he boarded he horses and wanted to know if I wanted to play in some snow. Hell, yeah! Literally a block from my house! Here are some shots:

HEHEHE Nice!! Like the Camaro. When I was working for Autozone, I had a customer come by a few times in his 280Z. It had a Datsun pickup under it :D

I was gone for all of 20 minutes. I had to be back in time for dinner and to finish up some other stuff. Shortest 'trail run' I have ever done!

Yeah, that Camaro was pieced together from one that had the back end demolished and one that was in a head on. Dale grafted the two of them together and stuck them on a Blazer frame he had that the body was about to fall off of. It came out pretty good, considering. He did this about 25 years ago, used to mud race it, and now just fools around with it every now and then. It looks better from far away than it does up close. It has more than a fair share of Bondo on it and sports a big block..

now why did you say you didn't have any fun? I would have had a blast..

I was being sarcastic, Happy! I had fun and would have played around longer but Dale had stuff to do and so did I...Heck, I have fun driving around in empty lots doing donuts and driving over piled up snow...

At one point I was very close to putting the Toyota van (forget what they are called) body on my frame. There isn't much difference in the wheelbase. Then I thought a bit and decided that it was way too much of a time investment, especially when I remembered the frame off I did on my 69 Bronco...

Why does a 4x Camaro sound really dirty and make me giggle like a little schoolboy. That's every teenager's fantasy. If only I could have that AND my 8th grade algebra teacher....
