I stopped off at the bank on my way into work this morning, and on my way out, I see $300,000 sitting in a parking lot all by its self.
Based on the frost, this was here since last night, and it doesn't seem like something someone would leave out all night.
I'm waiting to find out it was stolen in Las Vegas(Based on the LP border) and left here(A block NE of 120th and Pecos).
It just doesn't fit in this area over night.

BTW that is a brand new Lamborghini Murcielago cost: US $273,000
Specs:
0-60 mph: 3.6 sec
0-100 mph: 8.7 sec
Quarter Mile: 12.0 sec @ 121 mph
Skidpad: .90g
Top Speed: 205 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph: 122 ft
Slalom Speed: 65.7 mph
And if you are impressed remember I can build you a better performing car for 1/3 of the cost. just in case anyone is interested.

Why would a bank leave a car like that out overnight, without it being in a fenced in area?

Some bank president probably OD'd doing Coke lines off a hookers ass in his office or something, leaving the car to sit. Seems to be normal behavior for Lambo owners right?
Its really hard to tell if that is a brand new one (you'd have to be a complete car dork to know really) as they have been in production for 10+ years. The soft top for a bit less though. Either way, they've never been cheap, but I will say that its cool to see someone do "every day" kind of things to it. Certainly would not be how I would spend $250k or more, especially in Colorado.
Joe, I'd definitely come to you if I had the money to spend on a slick car with good performance. How's that Camarovette project coming along BTW?

Maybe someone decided to drop it off at the bank rather than have the bank come repo it...

It was in a parking lot a few buildings down from the bank. Not in the same lot.
It just seemed very strange to see a Lamborghini, let alone one with frost on it.

Maybe they are hard workers and got in really early. ;) Or maybe the janitor is making more $ than you realize.

It's an Italian car! It breaks down when it wants, where it wants.

It is a slow process as we make it our second job behind whatever is in the shop. I am fitting the Camaro body to the Corvette chassis now and should be designing the aluminum frame soon as I will be able to clearly depict where I want it. :thunb:

Do you have anything posted about this?
I'd love to see this Frankinvette become "ALIVE" :D

I don't. If I had the time to take pics and do a write up (internet wise) as to it's progresssion I would. I should hire someone that will do it with the premise they get paid when it sells.
