Just a "big storm" from what they're saying. We went to a beach known to be quiet and calm. The pic doesn't do it justice but these were probably 6 - 8 feet. Very cool!

What Chris didn't mention or show shots of was that for every person like in the top picture, there are at least 10 of the bottom pictures. One of the more vivid memories of Aruba I have (nightmarish, actually) is of two Europeans walking towards us on the beach. They were in their mid to late 60's, and had major tans. They were both about 150lbs or more overweight. He was wearing Speedos, she was topless and wearing a bikini bottom...rough doesn't even start to cover it...

The pics of the rocks on the road were meant to be followed by wheeling here. The rain which varies considerably makes trails a real challenge from what I've learned. Much more unexpected obstacles can appear very quickly and with the rain the inevitable mud. Lots of SOA trucks here, the majority appear to be beach wheelers with surf board racks. Some are obviously serious trail trucks. The trail trucks are pretty battered from meeting rocks. I saw a group coming off a trail but didn't stop to chat, next time I will if I see another group.

I've held off on commenting on this to make sure I wasn't seeing things wrong. I'm not and have to say this beach has 10 of the top pics for every one of the lower ones Pete. Yeah, I'm hading back out now. :lol:
