Hey! Tried to PM you but its still not working. Josh (haku) mentioned that he thought you had a connection with someone who mounts and balances tires. I had two mounted the other day and Discount Tires charged me $55 to do it. I thought that was a rediculous price and I have 4 more to mount tomorrow. Any chance you have a connection and could hook me up with a better deal than that?

well, I need them for the run on Sunday. so if I need to go somewhere else thats fine. I am sure if I shop around I can find someone to do it for cheaper than Discount did. I have never had to pay that much before.

75FJ40 works for a BMW stealership, so you might be able to coerce him into doing it for you too. I'd say Twistedbronc would do it too maybe, but he is way down in Monument.

I had Big-O charge me $15 to put a tire on a rim. They add another $5 if they have to remove a tire. Basically, it would be $80 to remove four from the truck, swap tires and put them back on the truck.

Big O on Iliff only charged me $10 a tire to dismount, mount, and balance. On top of that, when I went back with the last 2 tires, he didnt even charge me for them!

Personally, I bought a machine from HF that manually mounts and dismounts tires. I do them all at home. $45 well spent. Then to get them balanced, you can take them to SOME of the Sam's Clubs and they will balance all 4 on a vehicle for $16 no matter where you bought them.
