Yeah, we are back, and what an adventure! I am going to be posting a bunch of pictures and a write up today.

The last part of the trip where we went into Angel Falls was the real kicker. Margarita Island to Caracas on a puddle jumper, then another flight to Porta Ordaz, then a real puddle jumper to Canaima out in the middle of BFE. The last bit flying over the rain forest with no roads at all, then flying around the 'Tepuys' which are essentially islands in the sky, with the proximity alarms going off because we were both too low and to close. This was just to get to our camp where the actual Angel Falls trip started...and the real adventure began..

It is good to be back home, too.

We were dealing with the opposite end of the weather spectrum: 90+ degrees and 95++ humidity. We had to repack our main bag at the Miami airport as the damp clothes added too much additional weight! Nothing actually got 'dry'

90+ degrees and 95++ humidity.

No thank you, I will stick to the dry cold, 90 degrees and 95% humidity is what we used to get in Oklahoma, walk outside and sweat instantly.

yeah in florida, there are days that if your air conditioning isnt on and it has rained heavily, you can literally take a "cold" shower and get out and start sweating.

IT SUX.

That's the truth. I lived there for 18 years...
