Anyone know any conditions on that road? I am planning to just take a drive up this weekend just for the sake of seeing some scenery that I haven't yet and maybe find a cool photo. Figured I'll take Rist Canyon road to Stove Prairie Rd. down to Masonville and up by Horsetooth. Not sure what those roads are like - seem like decent routes so I figure they would be decently cleared but who knows.

My guess is that it is going to be in pretty good shape barring more snow. It looks as though this is pretty much the same road that you take back from Moody Hill/Crystal Mountain/ Masonville and the Moody/Crystal trails are open all year. All of the information I could find pertained to bike rides and nothing about current conditions. I just know that I have come back by way of Masonville in the winter and it was simply a nice drive.

Cool...that's just what I'm looking for is a nice drive. It seemed to be a road well enough used to not have to worry, but couldn't hurt to check.

It also looks like a really nice motor bike ride, too, as it is a country road with a lot of curves and not too much traffic, even in the summer.

That's the whole reason I'm going is to scout for possible picture opportunities. That and just a nice relaxing drive.
