Some things in this world are shrouded in mystery...and should stay that way.

Actually, I was going to say "some natural wonders in this world" but I thought it would be highly inappropriate.

Rob

Don't you mean un-natural wonders? (Blush)

What, was there some kind of artificial inclusions???

Rob
February 16th, 2010, 11:23 PM
No, I've just heard the phrase "Wow, that's unnatural" more than once. :eek: I could never figure out what they were talking about, though. That happens to me a lot. :smokin:

So in high school it used to be Rob now it's Old Rob, would the nickname follow suit and be DrOldUnit? :lmao:

Well, I got over it pretty quickly. :) Plus, I was getting confused whenever someone posted something to one of the two young Robs.

Or maybe it's just that, more and more, I identify with Eliot's J. Alfred Prufrock.

... No! I am not Prince Hamlet, nor was meant to be;
Am an attendant lord, one that will do
To swell a progress, start a scene or two
Advise the prince; no doubt, an easy tool,
Deferential, glad to be of use,
Politic, cautious, and meticulous;
Full of high sentence, but a bit obtuse;
At times, indeed, almost ridiculous—
Almost, at times, the Fool.

I grow old . . . I grow old . . .
I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.

Shall I part my hair behind? Do I dare to eat a peach?
I shall wear (bermuda shorts with black socks and sandals:rolleyes:), and walk upon the beach.
I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. ...

Full of high sentence yes, but obtuse? I doubt that.
