This looks like a great place to go. Where is this? Will have to make plans to visit.

It's about 25 + miles NW of Moab. Not many go out there but the views are to die for. One of my favorite areas to go for solitude and views. I'd be glad to show you (and anyone else for that matter) around... I think there's a run panned for next month??

I won't be on the April run, but my next trip to Moab is going to include areas and trails that are out of the way a bit and new to me. My goal is to one day know southern Utah from Monticello to Mexican Hat Wilderness area, and from the CO border to I-15. I would love directions to your spot please. It looks like what I am searching for on my next visit.

Pretty hard to give directions on this trail. Many forks and unmarked slick rock. I have a Garmin track log but would have to figure out how to get it to you.

If you can just tell me what main road you follow and what the first turn off is, I wouldn't mind just messing around in that area. :)

I can do that! Better yet, I'll get you an exact map of the route. I think I also have a book written by Jack Bickers (local) that has maps (kind of). PM me your address and I'll send them to you.
