so I finally put some mufflers on today! Take that Grandpa Rob and Smash, now you have to make fun of me for something else!!! :D
It is certainly not a professionally designed exhaust, but at least it isnt unmuffled anymore. Put on the Flowmasters that Smash picked up for me. Ended up working out perfectly as the ID of the pipe the muffler was attached to was the same as the OD of my current pipe, so it sleaved pretty well. That is all, no pictures, because it is about sound, and you just cant photograph that. But at least I can talk in a normal voice now while standing next to it :thunb:

Can you take a picture of the musical notes it makes?

no, but if you want to get music... it used to be a sfortszando, and now its more of a mezzoforte.

WHAT? I couldn't quite make out that first post.
Wait ... did you say Grandpa Rob? Do you know something I don't? Hang on while I go call my son and find out what he's been up to. ;)

I thought it originally was more of a basso profundo with a bellicoso undertone.

Of course, "grandpa" in this case is intended as an insulting term of ancient-ness rather than a specific lilne of offspring. :D

yea, i was a music major, and this is why I took the tech approach to my career rather than the musical side. Its not too hard to talk circles around me musically, but i can certainly hold my own in other areas...

Gotcha. Just checking. Now that you have the racket under control, how about some paint? Smash, what do you think? Shouldn't he paint that thing? ;)

Not I. I know just enough about music to be dangerous.
