rover tire swap

ever since I bought my disco II, I have been kinda bummed. I have a good set of winter tires on 16's but my all seasons/summers were on 18's which just didnt leave much tire sidewall for wheeling.

Luckily my friend jon just bought an 03 disco II. his came with 16s and oddly enough he doesnt plan to wheel it much/at all. He was terribly disappointed that his didnt come with 18s.

well, while talking through this the other day he and I hit on the perfect solution - we should just swap his 16s for my 18s. So this morning thats what we did.

pulled these 16s off Jon's rover:

after getting the 18s on his truck, his former 16s went on mine in place of these 16" winters (BTW these Hakka's rock in the snow)

for some reason I never did take a pic with the 16s on my truck. I'll grab one of those in the morning. At least my truck is ready to wheel. :D
