Since I don't have the money for an Atlas 4 speed.... I have two T-cases a NP-241 and a NP-208 which one is stronger/ better for the trail? I am going to have the slip yoke removed and need some advice.

Thanks ,

Bryan

They are basically the same. The 241 has a plug and the 208 doesn't. Do your own sye kit. I am sure there is some info in http://www.coloradok5.com (http://www.coloradok5.com/)

I found a yoke from a turbo 400 in a 2500 van. Slips right on the shaft of a 208. Only catch is drilling and tapping the shaft for the 1/2 nf bolt, and welding the washer to the yoke. You will also have to use and adaptor spider to install a stock 1/2 to drive shaft. I'll send pics of yoke if wanted. Only cost me $8 at pull-n-save.The jeep guys do alot of hack and tap sye's you just have to find the wright yoke to run and tap the t-case out put shaft. Its something i am going to do.

Thanks for the help. I already have a yoke w/ a flange that bolts to a 1 ton CV. Just need to pick which T-case to use.

i have a 241so does tonka toy he installed a slit yoke eliminator. i have not had any problems w/ mine i would love to get that atlas too but no dollars. call bill 3037810445 he might still have my slip yoke eliminator all you have to do is cut about 1/2 inch off this tail shaft and tap it so you can bolt it together then get a rebuilt driveshaft that fits
