Off to Vernal Utah for camping and fishing at Red Fleet reservoir. Dinosaur museums, pioneer cemeteries, hiking, cliffs, homesteads and petroglyphs. Good times I hope.
See ya'all later.

Yes...have a lot of fun. Don't shoot your children or leave then in the desert...

Hope that stupid noise went away after tightening everything up. Steph's got an oddball rattle that only really appears on a right turn around 10 mph. Been all over her rig twice and couldn't see anything. Tightened everything up today and still could find a damn thing. Of course, I have the same things going on with my rig, the Escort, and the Jeep....Intermittent noise, nothing obvious and nothing that really sounds important. Just irritating. Most be nosocomial noises...:D

She has been all over her rig tightening stuff up, too as part of her basic maintenance.

So the truck is at Arvada Auto Tech for transmission servicing and so they could try to find the source of the noise.

Pete: First they thought it sounded like a heat shield vibrating. The second call I got was the details of how they reproduced the noise and tracked it to the exhaust system, right where you pointed out that leak. Scotty said you can't tighten the bolts enough to get the leak and noise to cease and desist. Needs a new gasket and he will give me photocopy the part so I can just go get one.
