Everybody here has a screen name for the most part. They are all unique. What's the story behind them?
Roostercriuser is from when I used to run bullwagons and chicken trucks. I've always like the semi trucks like Peterbilts and KW W 900's and decked out in lights looking like a rollin xmas tree.

Watch the whole video, you'll know  (I wish that was me, although, if it was me driving, it would have looked about the same). It was a fully prepped rally car, they didn't let him run at our autocross events ever again for unsafe driving techniques (I know, that looked freaking cool). They were out there testing tires, not racing, and the SCCA officials didn't like that at all. But it was cool ;) Btw, I did the video.

I made my name up back in 05 when I first got my 96 Bronco and joined FullSizeBronco.com. I'm on the other local forums under that screen name, and under the Ranger forums as WyldeChild.

Had Smash as my nickname since college.

Involved a little scooter thing like this:

Some plywood, 3 flights of stairs in a dorm, a few big trash cans and a lot of destroyed drywall...

Oh, and yes, I was sober...

Name stuck! It's the handle I use on all forums, and a lot of people call me Smash.

Mr6dwg
June 9th, 2010, 10:50 AM
For me, I have a 1979 Honda CBX. It is a 6 cylinder bike. I would go to the mountains and hang ten with the crotch rocket bikes. I was known for along time as Wildman, but for some reason, I kind of got the nickname of Mr6 and it has stuck. The dwg part is my initials.

Mine comes from never being on a forum until I bought one of these (http://www.chuckbrazeau.com/rswarrior/rswarrior110b.jpg). Other variations of "warrior" were taken already. So when I joined forums on 4x4's, fishing, etc, I kept that name to make it easier for me to remember. I've been thinking lately about changing it to my last name since the thrill of a screen name is long gone & especially since I don't have any of my bikes any more. (dang, I miss riding) :frown:

Lysmachia
June 11th, 2010, 10:32 PM
Lysmachia (pronounced Liz-MAH-key-AH) Is a latin term for white gooseneck flower. My brother owned a greenhouse and cut flower business for 20 years and I used to work for him from age 10 through college. The name just stuck and I use it on all my forums. I wanted Cliva (another flower name) but it just seems gross due to the cross pollination of words to describe lady parts.... :lmao:

This is a cool thread BTW, I always wonder how folks end up with their screen name of choice!

Fordguy77
June 12th, 2010, 09:27 AM
Well Fordboy77 isnt to creative at all. When i turned 16 i bought 2 trucks that i had been saving for. One is a 1970 F100 2wd and The other is a 1977 F150 4x4. I like hot rodding the 70, but always had more fun driving the 77. I've also one through a lot of fords in the 6 years i have had my license. Its also my name on all my other forums. But now i drive the FJ60 so i am known on Ih8Mud as Foryotaguy84' as Josh(Haku) suggested.

this is my free truck. I am the second owner. the ol plymouth is the first one like it I have owned and its much better than my ol prospector.

Speedwagon
June 19th, 2010, 04:56 AM
I got mine in Japan. Bought a '91 Legacy wagon GT when I got there in '01. After some of my Army buddies riding with me, they were in an Autobacs one day, and say a sticker that said:

Exe Altair
Speedwagon
Powercruising

They decided that the sticker fit me very well, with the way I drove(and still do) that wagon. They got me that sticker, and I've used the name since. I've even been accused of being Steve McQueen coming down I70 from a day of boarding. :jiggy::D

1freaky1
June 19th, 2010, 06:11 AM
As for mine it came about in two ways 1) was the old ranger I built for one of my sons, someone said it was Freaky and 2) a gal I knew online once told me I was a freaky1 so I made it from those two a long long time ago.

RidgeRunner
June 21st, 2010, 08:15 PM
An old friend of mine gave me the idea of putting somthing like RidgeRunner on a 4 wheeling rigs licence plate, like RDGRUNR. I think he had TRLRUNR on his. I had it on my old '85 Toyota PU and used RidgeRunner over on Colorado4x4.org and RidgeRunnerXJ (since I now drive a XJ) on NAXJA.org.
