2024-09-20 Roosevelt N.F. Deadfalll Clearing

I took the day, Friday, to enjoy a nice forest day. This is the far northwest corner of the Roosevelt N.F. - just below the CO-WY state line.

West of Woods Landing, the aspen tree colors were great (8700 Ft Elevation). A short bit down the road was a fun sight to see - a cattle drive crossing the road. Aside from forest scenery - and trees to tend - was an unexpected mine. I wonder what was mined there?
