Thread: Favorite Brews

    Default Favorite Brews

So for my fellow beer lovers what is your brewery, or brew of choice?

My favorite for a long time has been Laughing Lab from Bristols Brewery. Excellent Scottish Ale. Hard to go wrong with anything from Bristols!

Last year I tried the Claymore Scotch Ale from the Great Divide Brewery. Almost replaced my top pick, but not quite. Everything I've tried from them has been great.

I'm also a fan of New Belgium. Especially their 1554. Fat Tire, Sunshine, and Ranger are also good choices.

So lets hear some other good brews.

Me too when I cant afford to drink Micro Brews.

I'm gonna have to try some of that Laughing Lab.

I'm a fan of Great Divide as well, Hoss is one of my favorites from them. Their Oak Aged Imperial Yeti is amazing but it's near $10 for a bomber of it.

New Belgium is good too, Fat Tire is what got me into beer in the first place.

Left Hand Milk Stout Nitro is delicious, O'Dells 90 Schilling is good too.

Alaskan Amber and Dale's Pale Ale have been two of my favorites as of late.

I do like New Belgium's spring/summer offerings, most beers from the Moab Brewery (especially Poison Spider) and for the bottle appeal, anything from Wasatch Brewing CO. Dale's is great for camping.

I'm a Budweiser guy myself. Have been known to drink micros from time to time but steer way clear of those IPAs. Wheat beers are tasty too.

Ah I love beer. I think the New brew from New Belgium is my new favorite. (That's alot of new) It's called Dig. If you haven't tried it and like hoppie beers I suggest giving ig a go! So good! And you can NEVER go wrong with Fat Tire. I saw a guy riding an official Fat Tire bike around the lake I was fishing yesterday. It was awesome

Alaskan is pretty good, I'll pick up a 6pack of them from time to time. Dales Pale is good as well my only complaint with them is they come in a can. Wish they would bottle.

Moab Brewery makes some good beers too. We stopped by last time we were out there. And will stop by again next time we are out there.

While I was out in Portland there was a German restaurant, which served excellent schnitzel. They also has a large variety of German beer. I usually had the Dunkel.

However... Bud? Coors? Keystone??? NO thank you! Just about the only national beer I'll drink is Sam Adams. Maybe that makes me a bit of a beer snob? Nah, I like to think of myself as a connoisseur.

Any beer too dark to see through....and even then, maybe only 3 or so a year. Last six pack of Guinness we had lasted almost two years....

Jon, I think there is one exception to this preference we share: Coors Field at a ballgame, 80 plus degrees out. I will have Coors.

Your reply made me remember 1983 when my family vacationed out here, visiting my uncle. We went to the Coors Brewery tour and Killian's Red was their new beer. My mom let me try some when no one was looking.
