Word I got was from someone who was at the FS meeting where they voted on doing the 'grading/improvements'. I asked what was the reason behind it and he said it was because of the 'hikers'. Pardon me, but I hike, too, and I sure don't remember even having too much trouble with boulders and a stream on a hiking trail...and I have hiked in to do Holy Cross a couple of times... My friend also mentioned that doing the trail this year was a good idea because of this, which is why I mentioned it.

dang it ill have to figure out how iam gonna get this dodge buttoned up enough for that trail. its good for easy trails right now but that i gotta make sure everything is prime
