New member from Colorado Springs

Hi all, new to the forum here. I'm 40, ex-Air Force and now doing IT for the last 13 years with a large Global company. I'm a novice to off roading. Used to go as a teenager and still hit mild trails while hunting in my Truck, but I just purcahsed my first Jeep a couple weeks ago. The previous owner trailered the rig to the trails and I'm working to get it road worthy, should be done in another week or so. Anyway, once I get it ready I might be looking to join few of you on a trail ride or two. I gave my Dad the bug and he just bought a CJ-7 today as well.

Mine is the Silver one, his is the Yellow one.

I am new to this stuff as well, but I am loving it so far! I only have a handful of of trails under my belt so far, but I have had fun each time! So far I mostly go with my neighbors (Geno and Robert B), but everyone I have met has been great! Good group of folks!

This past weekend I spent most of my time on Hackett Gulch helping in a recovery. I wouldn't recommend doing that too often, but it was an interesting experience!
