Well... It's been a long time coming but as of this morning we finally got our air date for our House Hunters show! - Sept. 4th, 10PM E/P. HGTV.

Brett and Laura are recently engaged, but have been on the hunt for a new home in Denver for what seems like forever. Brett is resistant to buying a place in the burbs, where she wants to live, even though finding a place in the city with all the indoor and outdoor space they want will be nearly impossible on their budget. Can Laura convince him to abandon his dreams of downtown and settle in suburbia?

We will not have the opportunity to preview the show, so we'll be seeing it for the first time on September 4th. Really curious to hear how they portray Laura and myself... Judging by the description of the show, they're making me sound high maintenance!

Out of curiosity, what do YOU get out of being on the show? Do they pay you some money? Give you something? What's in it for you?

Also, do you only get to look at those 3 houses or do you get to look at lots more? I know when I bought my house, I looked at like 35-40 houses. I think my realtor hated me by the end.
