Ratio - how many watch the nightly TV news

We generally watch it while doing other things. And along with that we usually only listen for stuff that generally pertains to each of our lives, and then take it all with a big grain of salt.

watching the news on tv just pisses me off. Not necessarily because of the news presented, but because of how it is presented. Tired of people who aren't educated in a particular subject matter injecting their own personal opinions and biases just because everyone in the city gets to listen to them. If they could figure out how to just present the news and the facts known, I would definitely watch it. Just sick of all the commentary and bigotry that goes along with it.

We watch the "news" segment, the first 10 minutes or so until sports starts.

Honestly, most of what I see on the TV news is old news compared to getting news online. They are also colored so, so negative as to not be valuable.

I hate the sensational headlines for tv news.

On most nights my wife and I watch local news while we eat dinner. Sometimes we'll watch the news at 9pm.

Only watch the news in the morning while getting ready for work, and that mostly just for weather and traffic information.

I watch it for the weather. Need to know how much work Im gonna have to do the next day. Im a rancher so a lot depends on if its nice or not....

I don't have cable, I only get the local stuff, and only if it's not windy. I like the business-conjugal outfits the weather girls wear!! I watch about 10 minutes or so everyday just to see if there is anything actually important. It seems that every 10 minutes or so they rehash stuff, so that's about how long my ADD can take it.

I watch 9news about half of the time. I only watch because Kyle is pretty effing funny. He and Kathy Sabine are always taking jabs at each other and he is much wittier so it makes for a good show. The content is both lacking and biased not to mention depressing. I watch for the comedy.
