Sevenmile Creek
Today my club was able to perform some work on another one of our adopted roads that has been impacted by the Cameron Peak Fire, Sevenmile Creek. For the most part the fire stayed out of the bottom area along the road and creek but really devastated the upper areas.
Overall the road is in great condition. The Forest Service recently had numerous new water bars installed in the problem areas that should help a lot with erosion. We cleared six trees from the road, one was very large and frozen to the ground which made it difficult. We hope to work with the Forest Service to get the road open soon.
