Sidewinder is an OHV permit trail. At least 35 inch tires and a locker are recommended.

That is my thinking too. Nights are getting rather cool (depending upon elevation - but I guess "down by the river" would be warmer than up in the mountains). I believe Mass is at 10am so I could readily make it to your trailhead start at Noon.

Which hotel are you folks leaning towards?

Swaying heavily to be a yes for both days.
