Sevenmile is finally open!
Sevenmile Creek opened Friday after years of being closed. There was rumors that the Greeley Water District, they own the water rights to the creek, was going to install culverts in many of the creek crossings. Well they didn’t install any. The work they did is hardly even noticeable. I saw several spots where they placed numerous trees in the creek. I assume this is to slow down the spring runoff. They made some pretty big water bars with rocks in the outfalls. They did grub one kind of large area.
