Hello everyone, my name is Mike I have lived in CO for 26 years now and have been off roading ever since I moved here. My wife likes to camp but does not like shelf roads and really does not like off-roading on - I know, it is a challenge at times to find easy trails to explore. Looking forward to taking trail adventures with members. I just recently went on the 'Rocky Mnt Toyota Round Up' back in late July. I did not run Black Bear pass this time - but I did Imogene and others. The last time I ran those trails was back in 2000 and boy what a difference, tons of vehicles some not so pleasent or respectful - sad. When I ran them back in 2000 Silverton was not much and I think there were only 10 vehicles on the main street. What a wonderful transition each of those communities have made - and for the good.
I have a 2020 TRD Pro Tacoma I got March of 2020 one week before the world changed. We do pull a Conqueror UEV 490 when we go camping - compromise to get my wife and the three dogs out camping. I have made modifications to the Taco over the past four years as we found the need and how to enhance in how we use it. Moderate lift (3") with 33's, sliders, winch, re-geared when we got the camper in 2021 to 5.29's, six speed manual. Posting a pick from a camping trip near Moab this past spring. I will share more over time - need to take more pics to be honest.
