Laramie River Valley - Deadfall Cleanup

I'm playing hookie tomorrow / Friday. I'm heading back to the forest between Hohnholz Lakes and North Sand Flats to meander the trails and clean up deadfall. I'm looking for a long day out, enjoying the forest at a slow pace.

If anyone wishes to join in, you're most welcome - I'm heading out myself anyway.

Probably leaving FoCo about 8am to take 287 to Laramie then west towards Woods Landing. This is quicker than via CO-14.

I'll check this thread before I leave in the morning (and late tonight) to see if there's any interest to have a meet spot/time.

I'm heading out again - same area - Saturday 10/5/2024. Hoping to leave FoCo 7 or maybe 8a. Headed to Red Feather Lakes, topping off fuel, then west on Deadman road to laramie river valley / hohnholz lakes entrance to the forest.

If anyone wishes to join - holler here. I'm thinking there's no interest - not going up on the calendar.

Weather looks great and it'll be an enjoyable day spending easy time in the forest. It will be a long day - heading out of the forest near sunset - home well after dark / 10pm. I'm looking forward to it - a hectic week.
