    Default Switzerland Trail - New Years Day - 1/1/25



    The third year of the revamped New Year's tradition run was another success! We had 4 members (Mike, Andrew, Jon, myself) and Jon's buddy (also John) in a variety of trucks. The day started chilly but warmed up and was sunny for most of the run. Snow was light again for the most part with lots of dry patches, but we did find some deeper sections towards the end of the North spur. The last mile or so was actually snowed in and not passable. Overall a great day with no issues, some pictures included below.

    Be sure to buy some quality ones especially if you plan to use them in the winter. I remember a few years ago Trent had some and one broke apart on first use. I don't know if they got too cold/rigid being hung on the outside of his Jeep or what

    Welp.. it looks like I got the same ones Trent had .. hopefully they have improved their materials in the last few years...
